Hello bros. Happy first day of Christmas.
You may be wondering where I’ve been and why I've been quiet on social media of a sudden.
Well, I’m here to bring the sad news that my dad passed away last Wednesday.
He had a respiratory arrest, and as he has always had asthma since childhood, that stroke hit him hard.
For those who never knew him, my dad was a great man: he was a responsible and hardworking person, and someone who always cared about others, even with strangers.
And even though we always had our fights or disagreements, he always tried to keep the peace in the family.
He was never an alcoholic, a drug addict, or a criminal, either. He was such a decent, good man.
My dad had siblings: 3 brothers and two sisters, and among the brothers, he was the youngest. And my uncles and aunts always told me the good things he did for his family. He was the one who was very worried about the health of his family, and also my mom’s family.
And if you had the chance to meet him, my dad was a person who would love to keep around, even for a small talk.
After his death, my family and I were busy with the arrangements for the funeral. He’s already been cremated, something that he wanted a long time ago. We have his ashes in my mom’s house.
So that’s that.
I will return to my arts and projects this week very soon. But for now, I need some time to deal with the emptiness that my dad left after his death.
