About Me.

Meself-caricature.jpg

Roberto Miguel Cova Sequera (aka Brother-Tico) was born in Venezuela, on November 22, 1979. He graduated from Nueva Esparta University (Caracas) with a Bachelor's in Design Business Administration in 2004.

But, before he entered university, in 1995, he studied arts and comics at the [defunct] López & Acosta Comic School in Caracas, where he learned with the greatest comic artists and teachers in those times for 5 years with Julio López, Rodolfo Hernández, Sammy Rodríguez, and Vanessa Balleza.

Aside from working (and still working) for graphic design companies like Ogilvy, he's also done freelance illustration work for publishers like Editorial Biosfera and Bloque DeArmas. Despite that he's a graphic designer, his real passion is drawing manga and illustrations. And although that his content is for a mature audience, he sometimes adds a little humor to make it fun and entertaining for adults.
