Thank you Inktober and Goodbye

Thank you Inktober and Goodbye

I want to say thank you to everyone who followed my art during this year’s Inktober Art Challenge. I've been doing this challenge since 2015, and I have to say, as a creator, it was and still is a great experience to make art by using one of my favorite art techniques since my days at Lopez and Acosta Comic School in Caracas, inking. In fact, thanks to the teachers from that school I had, I fell in love with the art of inking in comics and manga, whether in the traditional way or the digital way. And Inktober is the perfect art challenge that ignites my love for this technique. But, sadly, I have to announce that this year will be the last time I do the Inktober.

Don't get me wrong, Inktober is a great art challenge. It's a great way not only to help you improve your art, and learn new skills such as inks but also to meet new friends and followers on social media. So, if you're a new artist who wants to improve your artistic skills, or you want a challenge that makes you make art every day, this art challenge is for you.

The reason that I decided to quit Inktober is that I want to prioritize my own art. I realized that I wasted too much time this year on other things that are not related to my own art. On top of that, when you have a job of 9-to-5, you don't have the luxury to have enough time to work on anything and everything you want.

This year I decided to make this Inktober my last. Whether I ever going to make another Inktober in the future I do not know. Probably not But thanks to Inktober, it really made me realize to love my own art no matter how good or bad it is.

Also, and I think I said this before, this Inktober and the next art challenges that will come soon, such as Huevember (next month) and MerMay (May of next year) will be the last art challenges that I will participate in. In MerMay, I will make the third and last arc story of the fisherman and the mermaid.

Anyway, this is all I wanted to say. Thank you so much for your support. I wish you guys could support me on Patreon to make more art, at least for 1 dollar every month is enough.

And that's it for now. As always, keep making something awesome.
